Title: A Tragic Day
Authors:
Bailey Hageman and Kelsie DeWitt

You never know when is the last time you will see someone you love. Craig Scott knows how that feels. His sister, Rachel Scott died in the Columbine school shooting. She had feelings she was not going to live a very long and wrote about that in her diary that very day. She was a very involved student and worked to make an impact on millions of people and start a chain reaction of friendship.

But there was a tragic turn of events on Tuesday, April 20, 1999. The murders, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 15 students and injured 24 that dark day. Rachel Scott was the first to die because of her faith. They asked her if she believed in Jesus Christ. She said, “Yes,” and Boom, she died. However her story still lives on. It is called Rachel’s Challenge.

We should always be kind to one another because we don’t know what impact it can have on others.
