Title: Mary's Baby Shower

The Nativity themed baby shower for Mary and her blessed child Jesus was just beautiful.  Students enjoyed sparkling star sugar cookies and delicious punch.  Various nativity scenes were on display for all to enjoy and one very special nativity was included in a shower game.  The students were to guess how many pieces of straw were with Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus.  Alex Pfannenstiel of class 2B was the lucky winner—his guess was closest to the actual 1127 pieces of straw!  Congratulations Alex! (thanks also to Mrs. Staab for her counting skills!)

A special THANK YOU must go out to all who helped make the shower so successful.  From the planning, to set-up, to serving, to clean-up, it couldn’t be done without the wonderful support and generosity of our HFE parents, faculty and staff.

Most importantly, we thank everyone single person who offered a gift to honor Mary and Jesus.  All gifts will be donated to Birthright of Hays.  Birthright helps any woman regardless of age, race, creed, marital or economic status, who feels distressed by an unplanned pregnancy.  Birthright gives its services free of charge.  As a tax-exempt, charitable organization, Birthright exists because of the financial and moral support of its donors and volunteers.
