Title: Candyland

This year we again had our annual candy cane sale. It’s amazing how a little thing like this can go so far. This year we made $703.70 on candy canes. We were able to give money to so many with needs: Cody, (a cancer victim), Kevin, (a boy in an orphanage), we gave money Food for the Poor (a goat and a water well), St. Jude’s Hospital, Donna, (Mrs. Dinkel’s handicapped sister), and 2 food baskets for the Community Assistance Center.

Thank you to all the students and staff for their generosity and for making Christmas special for all of these people. This project has taught all of the sixth graders a valuable lesson and that is: the smallest of deeds will help a lot of people in need.
