Title: Paging

Last week, one Holy Family student, Laura Krug, and two former Holy Family students, Russell Krug, and Jordan Pfannenstiel, were invited by Senator Phelps to page at the Topeka capital building.

We arrived at the capital early Thursday morning where we signed in at the page's office. Next, we had a small tour of the building and paging directions. We also had our picture taken with the governor. Then, we got to page for about an hour. We ran errands, delivered papers, and brought beverages to the hard-working senators. At lunch time, we enjoyed pizza with Senator Phelps. We got a more through tour of the capitol and a tour of the Supreme Court. After lunch, we were happy to meet the head of the Dept. of Agriculture.

We had a very educational trip when we paged. We are planning on going again next year!
