Title: Good Sams

Throughout the year, the 6th graders went to Good Sams to bond with the residents. Some of the activities we did included the following: October - we played Bingo and each of the residents won a prize. December - we sang and the band played for the residents. February - we did wheel chair dancing in which we pushed the residents around the building in their wheel chairs as we played polka music. April - our final time, we watched an old time movie and had popcorn and lemonade or peach tea. The movie was called The Andy Griffith Show.

Each of the students had their favorite activity, but everyone had to agree that each visit was a really fun experience for the students and the residents.
