All Saints Day
By: Trevor Pfeifer and Hayden Lowe

On November 1st, the sixth grade classes of Holy Family Elementary put on a performance for “All Saints Day.”

There were many performers from saint to angles to devils.

The play was about Saint Michael the Archangel and his angels battling Lucifer and his demons. Before the great battle, we had out saints go on and tell us about themselves. The saints were St. Germaine, by Morgan Choitz, St. Tryphon, by Trevor Pfeifer, St Ann, by Alison Schibi, St. Terese, by Heather Befort, St. Agnes, by Maci Gearhard, St. Bridget, by Bridget Heimann, St. Rosalia, by Raegan Billinger, St. Cecilia, by Taryn Rupp, St. Margaret, by Madyson Kerned, St. Domnic Savio, by Joseph Whitmer, and last but not least, St. Katri Tekakwitha by Gabrielle Chittenden. All students had done research, but a few performed in front of the classes. Then only the very best got to perform as saints to the entire school. After the battle, everybody gathered and sang the songs, “My God” and “I Will Follow Him,” using various actions. The entire school gave a rousing applause and many compliments to the sixth grade performers.
