Title: Amelia Earhart Authors: Meagan
Brin and Madyson Koerner
Amelia
Earhart is am important figure in Kansas history, and Holy
Family got a chance to listen to a historian who acted and
dressed as Amelia would have.
On Friday, January 28, the Hays Arts
Council brought HFE an historian who retold Earhart’s story
to the students. The historian talked as if she was really
Amelia Earhart herself. She told us how Amelia Earhart got
started loving planes and how she flew over the Atlantic
Ocean. It was very inspiring to all the students to hear how
we, too, should follow dreams and never give up. We all were
very honored to hear Amelia’s story about how hard work,
dedication, and commitment can help you follow your dreams
and get you where you want to go in life.
