On Tuesday, Oct. 4th, we had a little fun on St. Francis’ feast
day. Many students brought stuffed animals, as well as their live
animals to the pet blessing. There were dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks,
fish, and lizards. You can tell we had plenty of species! We sang
the song, “The Prayer of St. Francis,” and then Father blessed the
pets. The priests, Fr. Earl Befort, Fr. Barnabas, and Fr. Daryl
went around and sprinkled the animals with holy water. We had fun
petting our pets and the pets of our friends. This should help them
behave better.
