School is back in session; back to learning about all kinds of quirky, fun, and interesting stuff - as well as all the necessary stuff. It’s back to spending tons of time with your teacher; back to doing homework and going to bed early. The good thing is that we are back to seeing friends every day, too, and back to going to Mass twice a week and learning more ways to follow Jesus Christ.

The new music/band teacher, Mr. Saur, is here and ready to kick off the year with some rocking and rolling music fun. Lane Werth said, "He is nice and makes learning fun." The kids think that his games are cool, which shows there are really awesome ways to learn different types of music. Mr. Saur isn't the only new staff member this year. Mrs. North, sixth grade, teaches Science, English, and creative writing. We are excited to have her as a new addition to the sixth grade teaching staff.

It may be hard to leave summer behind, but there are many good reasons to look forward to the school year.
