At Holy Family Elementary, we have the most amazing faculty & staff. The commitment and dedication of those who work here is like no other. They walk in their faith every single day and love our students fiercely. Each and every one of them brings something unique to the table and we would not be the school we are without them.
When a member of our faculty & staff leaves, we are saddened and oftentimes feel like something is missing. But God never leaves us feeling that way for long. He brings us the exact person we need to fill that gap and make us whole again.
This year, God brought us Mrs. Hannah Augustine. After experiencing Hannah subbing for us in fourth grade, it was an easy choice to welcome her to our HFE family permanently as a first grade teacher. We are happy to have her with us and we invite you to take a moment to get to know her and to welcome her on our social media.

Tell me about your family: I have a wonderful husband named Joey and we have a sweet little boy named Jack! I have amazing parents, Jill and John Lane and two awesome brothers, Jacob and Trenton!
Tell me about your previous work experience: I worked as a classroom aide at Roosevelt Elementary in the Kindergarten Team until I did my student teaching there! After that, I joined the district here in Hays as a substitute teacher. I recently did a long term substitute stay at HFE for Mrs. Quimby while she had her baby girl!
Tell me about your hobbies, extracurricular activities, what you like to do outside of work: My husband farms so anything involved with that is what I count as my extracurricular activity time! I love the cows and the animals involved in the farm! I also quite enjoy crosswords and any type of puzzle when I have a minute to do one! Walking and hiking are also on my list of favorites!
Tell me why you are excited to work at HFE: The FAMILY atmosphere!!! The staff, kids, and family are all amazing and I cannot wait to join the fun for good!
Describe the personality trait you think you have that will best support HFE and our faculty & staff: Fun loving! I enjoy making the most out of everything and I look forward to making learning fun for our students and keeping the spirits happy.
What is one of the simple pleasures of life that you truly enjoy: A Dr. Pepper snoball and driving around listening to country music!
If you could find out only one fact about everyone you meet, what fact would you want to know: Their favorite music genre.
If you could wake up every morning and look out your bedroom window at the perfect view, what would that view be: The mountains to one side of my bedroom then the beach to the other! I could choose my adventure each morning.
