Silent Auction Volunteers Needed!
If you’re unable to help during the Chili Supper but still want to be involved, we have a great opportunity for you! We’re looking for volunteers to help solicit donations from local businesses this year. We learned quickly that contacting business decision-makers Monday- Friday, between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, was much more successful than the after-hours and weekends that we were available. Raffle and Auction Prizes Needed!
Please keep the HFE Chili Supper Raffle and Silent Auction in mind as you do your pre-and-post Thanksgiving shopping! We will need prizes for all ages, so please prayerfully consider what your family or business would like to donate! Black Friday Sales are great opportunities; from toys to electronics, appliances to cash, and everything in between, your donation will be greatly appreciated!!
For the "General Raffle", we are seeking prizes for both children and adults with a retail value of $100 or more. For the "Friends of HFE Raffle", we are seeking prizes valued at $500 or more. Monetary donations to be used for cash prizes will also be gratefully accepted! Raffle donations are not needed in-hand until January, but need to be pledged by November 26th in order to finalize the prize list for the printers! For the Silent Auction, we are looking for new items for both children and adults with a retail value between $10 and $100! No used or antique items, please!! Auction items are not needed until January 20th, but can be delivered before December 31st if a tax receipt for 2022 is needed!
