Hays Catholic Schools would like to congratulate its students who receive ACE Scholarships (a Scholarship Granting Organization aka SGO) on their strong academic performance. These students were able to attend Hays Catholic Schools and other private schools in Kansas because of these scholarships. All recipients are from families that earn 250% or less of the federal poverty level.

The proficiency rates compare these students' reading and math performance with their peers in Kansas public schools. We are proud of what you have accomplished!

Host family needed for a senior boy.

Anh Thai (pronounced On-Tie) is accepted to attend Thomas More Prep-Marian for the 2025-26 school year. Pending his student visa approval, we will need a host family for him.

Anh Thai has selected Henry as his English name. He hails from Vietnam and is 17 years old. He has a younger sister and lives with both parents in Hanoi, Vietnam (look at the two beautiful pictures above from his city). He speaks English well and loves soccer and basketball. He is a mature young man who is a practicing Catholic.

Henry is interviewing for his visa in late July. There is a chance that the visa is denied, but if it is approved, TMP-M will need a host family for him on short notice.

If you have the capacity and are interested in opening your home to Henry, please contact Chad Meitner at meitnerc@tmpmarian.org. We will be happy to share more details about this amazing young man!

Thank you to the group of men who cut down and removed three large dead trees on campus on Monday and Tuesday.

Bill Heimann, Mark '95 Lang, Justin Baalmann, Logan '27 Baalmann, Eric Moeder, Grant Stephenson, and Carter '31 Stephenson braved the heat to help beautify and maintain our campus. They brought their own equipment and hauled away all of the debris.

Thank you gentlemen for your stewardship. You are a perfect example of what makes Hays Catholic Schools so special!
