DRIVING FOR FIELD TRIPS
Requirements for volunteer drivers and the use of private vehicles in transporting students to and from field trips
Because of the lack of buses at Holy Family Elementary, we rely heavily on the help of volunteers to transport our students, through the use of a private car, to their field trip destination. The Diocese of Salina has updated their requirements for volunteer drivers and the use of private cars for transportation to and from field trips. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with these updates if you plan on volunteering to drive for a field trip. All necessary paperwork must be turned into the school Safety Coordinator two weeks before the field trip. Questions, concerns, or comments about the requirements can be addressed to the school safety coordinator at hfesafetycoordinator@hfehays.org
