We are in need of a Paraprofessional for one of our Kindergarten classrooms. If you or someone you know would be a good fit for this position, please see and or share the information below!
Holy Family Elementary is seeking a classroom paraprofessional for the 22-23 school year. This is a part-time position averaging around 25-29 hours per week and does not include benefits. We are looking for energetic individuals who love working with children to help assist the classroom teachers with general instruction and grading. Paras are expected to help monitor the students, prepare for projects and participate in various other classroom preparation duties as determined by the teacher. Holy Family Elementary is hiring! We are in need of workers to help facilitate our After School Care program! This is a part-time job, Monday-Friday, from approximately 3:00pm to 6:00pm. You would be helping students with homework, getting them snacks and monitoring them while they play or participate in an activity. If this is something you or someone you know is interested in, please stop by the school office to inquire or pick up an application!

**Job Opening -- 1st Grade Teacher!**
Holy Family Elementary is a Preschool-6th grade parochial school in Hays, KS with an enrollment of approximately 375 students. HFE seeking a classroom teacher for 1st grade to inspire students in faith formation and academic excellence in all discipline areas. The successful candidate is a practicing Catholic in communion with the church willing to instruct religious curriculum, capable of effectively managing a classroom of 20-24 students, and expertly prepares, instructs, and assesses students in multiple educational content areas.
A successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or be certified (or able to obtain certification) in Kansas. A Master’s degree will command a higher salary, as will teaching experience.
Teachers at Holy Family Elementary are expected to develop caring relationships with students that allow them to demand excellence. Holy Family believes a loving firmness and virtue growth will allow students to develop a growth mindset that will further aid in their success as they progress through school.
Experience and/or interest in a wide variety of technological tools is a plus. Holy Family Elementary uses the Google platform for calendar and electronic mail communications, overhead document cameras, interactive whiteboard software, digital textbooks, and PowerSchool for grade book management as well as student mobile digital devices with Google and Microsoft Office platforms. Students will learn 21st Century skills in a variety of platforms.
Holy Family’s uniform dress code, behavior expectations, emphasis on faith formation, and strong academic learning environment provide a school climate desired by many educators. The student Summer Lunch Program will be running out of Roosevelt Elementary School this summer in the months of June and July, Monday-Friday between 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. This is open to ALL children ages 1-18 for free! If you wish to join your child and pick up a meal for yourself, adult meals are $4. You can eat on-site, or take meals to-go!
